Peter joined the Army in 1963 as a junior entrant in the Royal Corps of Signals, qualifying as a Radio Operator. After almost 25 years’ Service, he retired to Civvy Street in 1988.  In 1997 Peter and his family moved to the Isle of Man to take up a post of Estate  Manager until fully retiring in 2012.

Peter has been involved with Heroes on The Water (Isle of Man) since 2017. Instrumental in the building renovations and  Registering the Charity in 2018 with the IOM Charity Commission.

Peter also finds time to to actively serve on several other committees ( Royal Artillery Association, Armed Forces Day, and Deputy Chari Manx Legion Club).
